Have you ever considered a career in building, real estate development or property management? Chinburg Properties is a dynamic, family-oriented company based in the Seacoast region of New Hampshire — and we’re growing.

Founded in 1987 as a small family business by Eric Chinburg, the company is innovative in its development philosophy, constantly evolving to incorporate best practices and committed to green building principles.

While working hard for nearly three decades to become one of the region’s most trusted names in quality construction and management, Chinburg has remained committed to building strong relationships with customers, business partners and employees.

Our growing team includes people of diverse workplace and educational backgrounds. In the past few years, we’ve welcomed top-notch candidates from professional schools such as the Wentworth Institute of Technology, University of New Hampshire engineering and business schools, Plymouth State, and many other schools and training programs.

And given our roots as a family operation, Chinburg embraces new employees as part of a larger family. We welcome people who have warmth and confidence, grit and determination.

Job Opportunities

Here are some of our current and ongoing job opportunities:

  • Senior Project Manager
  • Site Supervisor
  • Laborers

We are always seeking good people and more specifically are looking for an experienced commercial project manager, site supervisor and laborers of varying skill levels.  We are also always looking for new trade partners and sub-contractors.

 Core Competencies

There is a set of important core competencies that we seek in every member of the Chinburg team. These include:

  • Customer Service: Performs high-level customer service skills. Communicates with clients and residents to satisfy the expectations of the owners. Committed to quality service.

Company Values

The days are busy and the work is challenging, but there is an undertone of respect, humor and open dialogue across the company. Expectations are high for self-direction and the ability to make good decisions, with an emphasis on quality work and respectful treatment of colleagues and customers.

At Chinburg, it’s not only about what you bring to the job each day. We take a genuine interest in encouraging your personal activities and your work/life balance — whether it’s a much-anticipated fly-fishing adventure, serving as a sports coach or mentor, participating in a triathalon or pursuing other recreational passions.

In addition to a stimulating working environment and opportunity for growth, Chinburg Properties offers competitive salary and benefits, including 401K match and profit sharing bonuses.

Chinburg Properties’ main headquarters is housed in one of our award-winning mill renovation projects in Newmarket. It’s right next to the Lamprey River on the western side of Great Bay, in the heart of a quaint downtown area with recreational, shopping and dining opportunities. Other offices are located in Exeter and Dover, NH, and Amesbury, Mass. We’re working on a variety of new and ongoing projects at job sites throughout New Hampshire, southern Maine and northern Massachusetts.
