The Thirsty Moose

The Goal

The renovation of the popular downtown Thirsty Moose Taphouse. The project included a 2,300 sq. ft. expansion into a neighboring space, unique design elements to increase natural light and updated finishes that complement and uplevel the existing Thirsty Moose brand.

Our Approach

The Chinburg Team was challenged to complete the project under a tight deadline and minimize the closure time for the restaurant. The majority of early work was done on the expanded side before the spaces were connected. When the demising wall finally came down, the quick work continued to bring the client’s vision of combining the spaces to life. To meet the goal of incorporating more natural light, an entry firewall was replaced with a rated glass enclosure, showcasing the new finishes and redefining the space.
