About the Property
The historic Dana Warp Mill is located above the Falls on the Presumpscot River in downtown Westbrook, Maine. Woodbury K. Dana purchased a small mill on Bridge Street in 1866 and began manufacturing cotton warp. Warp is the cotton thread that is used for weaving textiles. In modern days the Mill has become the home to many unique operating businesses including designers and manufacturers of custom textiles, photographers, artists, fitness facilities, dance studios and more.
